I was absolutely exhausted yesterday, so I gave myself the day off and took a nap instead. That reminds me of one time, late in his life, when C.S. Lewis, around age 60, was asked by an interviewer if he ever took a nap. "Oh, no," Lewis replied with a twinkle in his eye. "But sometimes, mind you, a nap takes ME!"
Today's weather was not really suitable for an outdoor ride, so I climbed on our stationary cycle. And for entertainment, I recently saw a question posted on a Facebook page: "Name a movie that today's generation would not have heard of." One friend of mine replied with the 1970 film Little Big Man, and as I had never seen it, I decided to watch today. (I grew up in an area about 20 miles from the nearest movie theater, and, as a result, we never went to movies when I was growing up.) Today I watched the first half of it.
This gave me a ride of 13.5 virtual miles in 1:05.
