2023 Mileage: 3657.2
Today, during the twenty-ninth day of my 2023 Great Cycling Challenge (a fundraiser for kids' cancer throughout the month of September), I rode the round trip to Marsh Park, which enabled me to complete my 400-mile goal for the month.
As I rode, knowing that I was completing my mileage goal for the Challenge (with one day to spare), I found myself toying with the idea of bumping up my goal for 2024 from 400 miles (as it has been in 2021, 2022, and this year) to 500. But that would mean raising my needed daily average from 13 and a third miles to 16 and two thirds, and, quite frankly, I'm not certain that I'm up to that challenge.
