Since 2021, I have ridden annually in the Great Cycling Challenge (a nationwide fundraiser for the issue of kids' cancer), as a part of Team Greater Good, at the invitation of my cousin Dave Harris. It runs throughout the month of September, so today was the first day of this year's Challenge.
I rode the Packard/Platt Square, under a continuation of our amazing end-of-summer stretch of weather. Due to our being the Great Lake State, Michigan has a tremendous number of cloudy days. However, each day this week has been sunny. Today when I began my ride at 10:30, it was 72°, and that climbed to 77° during the ride.
